Serving temperatures

What are the correct serving temperatures for wines ?

(Serving suggestions are in degrees celsius)

The temperature of the wine has to be adapted to what you eat with it, and the temperature of that dish.

Roughly :

 

 - Champagne or sparkling as starter : 10-12°c

 - White wine with a cold starter : 8-10°c

 - White wine for a hot starter/main course : 10-14°c

 - Light red wine with a cold starter : 14-16°c

 - Red wine witha hot course rouge : 16-18°c

 - Sweet natural white wine (as muscat) : 8°c

 - Very sweet wine : 8-10°
